may live your life in powerful self reliance, connected to the Living Spirit

The shaman perceives the medicine inherent in all of the natural world and uses this to bring about healing and balance to himself, his village, his world. Shamans from Siberia, Mongolia, Australia, North America, South America, India, Africa and other places in our world all source from nature for their medicine. All know how to journey through the three worlds - the upper, middle and lower worlds to access the information required to bring balance to both people and the land they live in. Shamans work with Spirit medicine, ritual and ceremony, chant and trance, plant medicines and many other tools sourced from nature. Every shaman carries their medicine either in a medicine bundle or a medicine pouch.
The Shamanic practices that you will learn are sourced from many different cultures. Some of these are the Q'ero Inkan Shamanic practices of the Andes, the Lakota and Navaho medicine people, Tuvan shamanism from Siberia and also Celtic and Aboriginal shamanic influences. All are powerful.
Our Shaman Awakening training will take you on a healing journey where you will gradually assemble your own medicine bundle (Mesa). You will do this by undergoing deep processes of healing. As you bring healing to various aspects of your woundedness, you will empower your Mesa with that medicine. Each item in your Mesa will carry the essence of the healing work you have done on yourself.
A Mesa is a medicine bundle used for healing and ceremony. It is a portable altar. It contains khuyas and other sacred objects that hold power and meaning to the Mesa carrier. Khuyas are rumi, stones that are sanctified and empowered to bring healing through transformational processes, prayer, intent and blessing. Khuyas are medicine stones. You will undergo a different healing process with each of your Khuyas. Once your Khuya is used for your own healing, it will carry the energy of healing as medicine and can now be used for the healing of others. Your Mesa holds the energy of your own healing journey. It holds the energy of your Spiritual awakening. Ultimately, in Oneness, your Mesa is You.
If you choose to embark upon this training, please register your interest as soon as possible to give yourself as much time as you can to begin the sacred process of bringing to you the stones that will make up your Mesa. Instructions on how to gather your stones will be given to you as soon as you have registered.

Here below is some of what will be covered through the training. The training will be divided into two parts: the Foundation Cycle (6 days over three weekends) and the Deepening Cycle (11 days spread over three weekends and a 5 day retreat).
F O U N D A T I O N
(no pre-requisite)
Healing for the self
You will walk the Medicine Wheel and learn to SOURCE from the forces of Nature.
You will undertake deep Shamanic Journeys to the other worlds to connect with your power animal, discover allies and bring back healing gifts.
You will create Spirit paintings to shed unwanted elements in your life and replace them with what you want.
You will empower your first four stones as khuyas (Stones of Power).
These will be:
- Mother Stone - heal the feminine
- Father Stone - heal the masculine
- Tribal Stone - heal ancestral and tribal wounding
- Alchemy Stone - transform pain into power
You will begin to create your personal Mesa (Medicine Bundle/altar)
You will learn how to work with and use your Mesa for self
Here you will revisit the Medicine Wheel and learn to RELATE to the forces of Nature
Deepening Spirit painting work – shaping what you want
Using the power of breath as medicine
Shamanic voice exploration – using voice to access altered states and to invoke healing

Return to the Medicine Wheel and learn to CO-CREATE with the forces of Nature.

As part of the Deepening Cycle, you will learn to work with your complete Mesa to bring healing to others. Some of the processes of healing you will learn are:
DEEP ENERGY CLEANSING:
Feel and work with the energy body to clear hucha (heavy energy). Sensing and clearing the chakras deeply and thoroughly restoring a healthy flow of energy and a reharmonising of the centres to bring about balance and energetic integrity.
ALCHEMIA HEALING PROCESS: Release imprinted programs, memories and emotions still held in the luminous energy field that are still affecting the present and claim the gifts held within the experiences of the past. Click here for more information on Alchemia.
